I’ve made a few changes to the site navigation to try and make it easier to find the Accessible Places articles. The section now has it’s own tab on the main navigation bar and I’ve added child catagories for England and Scotland (I don’t have any reviews for Wales yet – Want to write one?). As the number of reviews increases, I will add in counties as well.
Want To Add Your Area
I would love to see reviews from as many places as possible. I’m not even limiting this to the UK. So if you would like to send me reviews of places where you stay or that you’ve been, I would be really pleased to add them to the site.
I think that this kind of participation encourages others to join in as well. So if you send me your thoughts, you will be helping in more ways than one. Of course, the more reviews we can feature, the more beneficial the site becomes to a wider audience of Disabled People.

One or Two Changes
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks slowly bringing both this site and ELPsych! together. I’ve tried to link them together by similar branding and appearance but still leave them as two separate sites.
The chap that wrote the theme I’ve used has done an amazing job of creating a very versatile platform that is both easy to use and (I hope) easy on the eye. Today he increased the options further by introducing a “magazine” style template. I’ve used some of the options this opens up on the ELPsych! homepage but there is plenty more to come!
Link Libraries
There is now a similarly styled Links Library on both sites. Obviously the emphasis is different, ELPsych! concentrates on Mental Health and DisabledPeople.org concentrates on more Physical Illness and Disability. I would love these Libraries to become interactive spaces that can be used to share places that have been particularly useful to you. If you would like to see links in these Libraries, please don’t hesitate to send me the address and anything you want to say on the description line. Either use the comments area on the Library page or the Contact Form.
Shoutbox
I’ve been looking for ways of making it easy to add comments to this site. I’ve added a Shoutbox to the sidebar as a bit of an experiment. To make it work, you have to enter a name but that’s all. You can write anything you like but please keep it polite!! Let me know what you think!!
Remember, I need ideas for this site.
